We collect as little as we can, use it only to respond to you, and do not sell or share it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
If you send an enquiry through this website or email us, we receive the details you give us: your name, organisation, email address, phone number if you choose to give it, the nature of your enquiry and your message.
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and loads nothing from third parties. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to discuss and scope work you ask us about, and to keep a record of that correspondence. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we will not contact you for marketing unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
No one, except where the law requires it, or where a service provider needs it to deliver our email and records to us. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
Some of those providers may store information outside Australia. Where they do, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected to a standard consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Sensitive and security-classified information
Please do not send classified or security-sensitive information through this website or by unencrypted email. If an enquiry needs it, tell us and we will agree an appropriate way to receive it.
Client engagements and the Resilience Platform
This policy covers this website and enquiries made through it. Information we handle for clients during an engagement, or that an organisation holds in its Resilience Platform, is governed by that organisation’s agreement with us.
Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email rob.parry@havelockconsulting.com.au and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
